Diagnostic Assessments and Evaluations TREAT provides a range of diagnostic services for children and adolescents. TREAT’s philosophy is that there is no "un-testable" child, and our staff is trained to work specifically with children with Autism. A full battery of age appropriate tests are available for diagnosing Autistic Spectrum Disorders (Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, and Asperger’s Syndrome) for all ages. We evaluate your child’s mental and motor IQ, receptive and expressive language skills, visual-spatial skills, and adaptive behavior/skills. Parents are provided a detailed evaluative report, discussing their child’s strengths and deficits in each of the above areas, with individualized treatment recommendations and area resources also provided. Fees for diagnostic assessments are typically $1,000, and include a complete, age-appropriate battery of testing, treatment recommendations, and a detailed report of your child’s strengths and weaknesses.
